What to Expect
Our Church: Rock Point is a non-denominational, community church that believes in keeping life – and church – simple. If you are new to church or don't know Jesus – we exist for YOU. Rock Point is a great place to begin a journey to learn about God, the Bible and His plan for you. You will also meet some REAL PEOPLE, experiencing REAL LIFE, who are ready to journey with you.
Our Worship Service:We have two Sunday worship services. Our services begin at 9:00 am and 10:45 am. We do not pass an offering plate during our worship services, however regular attendees and members may give in three ways: 1) make RPC a payee through your personal online banking service, 2) give online at rockpointchurch.org, or 3) use a giving envelope and place check/cash in one of the Generous Living Boxes located in the worship center or in the lobby. Please silence your mobile device during services, however please feel free to use your Bible app. We recommend www.youversion.com.
Our Weekly Message: You will hear a passionate and inspiring message that is Biblically based. The preaching is informative, challenging and relevant and is presented with great stories and lots of humor. You will learn what the Bible says about dealing with REAL LIFE issues – especially the tough ones. In fact, you will be able to apply what you hear on Sunday to your daily life in meaningful and practical ways. Visit our Messages page to experience more.
Our Music: At Rock Point you will experience music provided by a full band that plays current Christian songs. They are talented, worshipful and play upbeat music; music you will hear on Christian Radio from Hillsong United, Jesus Culture, Chris Tomlin, Kristian Stanfill and others. We encourage you to sit, stand, kneel, clap, dance or raise your hands – authentic worship is a priority at Rock Point. So feel free to praise and honor God in whatever way you prefer.
Our Dress Code: At Rock Point we don't believe “codes” should be attached to “dress”. We care more about you and your needs than what you wear. So put on your comfy clothes to come to church – after all, we live in casual country!
Our Baby Lounge: We have an awesome nursery available, in our Paidion Place ministry, to care for your child during our Adult Worship Services. If you would like your child to accompany you in worship, we have a special area located through the north door (left) side of the main stage. In the Baby Lounge, you can participate in the worship service via live video feed. The Baby Lounge offers parents the opportunity to enjoy a live broadcast of our service while seated comfortably in a family room setting.
